The first thing we did on day two was wake up, and go down stairs. Then we ate breakfast. After that we went back upstairs and got ready to hike mount Cardigan. When everybody was finally ready the kids went to find their leaders. Then we began the long journey up the mountain. After an hour or so, we reached almost to the summit. There, we went to the bathroom and noticed the ginormous windmills. Shortly after that, my group took a minute to eat snack. Then we set off to reach the summit of Firescrew. Near the summit of Firescrew we saw an incredible thing called an alpine bog. After we saw that we finally reached the summit of Firescrew. At the top we could see a town and lots of mountains. Also, on our way up we saw lots of trash, so that's human environment interaction. After we reached the summit of Firescrew, we started our way of to the summit of Cardigan. We noticed that the higher elevation we got, that the more sprue trees there were, and more trees that grow in high elevations. In minutes, we reached the top of Mount Cardigan. There is where we ate lunch. We admired the pretty view and took a look at the fire tower. Also we saw all of the awesome carens. We headed to two other small mountains and then back down. On the way down we passed a man with a german shepard. We took a stop to look at a dragonfly that had a wing that was missing. Before that we stopped at a cabin that if you wanted to you could stay at. A little ways down we crossed a bridge and a little stream. Finally we made it down. My group was the first to make it down and we hiked four mountains. When we came down we got to have free time. After free time was dinner. We had a chicken with mustard and bacon on top. It was pretty good. After dinner we had a little bit of time to ourselves. Then we all came down and went outside and gathered around the campfire. After the campfire we went inside and got ready for storytime. Story time that night was good. After story time was bedtime we went up stairs and went to bed.
